objective: Packaging for Director Lite for Japan.

target: Families who are getting into web design, not hardcore coders or traditional Director audience. Sold on shelf in retail.

solution: Distilling Director elements from the Neville Brody brand, and making them flatter and more animé.

results: Creative director and U.S. product managers were uneasy, but Japanese product managers loved it. It sold very well. We decided to use this solution for the other products in Japan if necessary.


 

 

project: We brought Neville Brody in again to give the brand a flat vector look similar to what I created for Director Lite.

objective: Taking Neville's artwork and rolling out new product identity.

solution: Worked with Neville, the executive staff and other designers to update product identities and maintain the same look across the series and collateral worldwide.
