| Born in
New York, Carolyn is a well-known bay area landscape artist. She received
her BFA from the University of Colorado. She has been painting the bay area
since 1987.
Painting exhibitions include Open Studios Selections in 1999 and 1997 and many other juried competitions, and in galleries such as the Fetterly Gallery, Alligator Gallery, Spectrum, Duveen in Burlingame, Works in San Jose, and the Three Corners Gallery in Marin, and in corporations such as 3Com and Synopsis. Carolyn has been active in the Hunters Point Shipyard artists community and teaches art and design privately, at SF City College Extension and currently at Ex'pression College for Digital Arts. Landscape paintings are painted quickly on site with easel or in the car. Environmental concerns are a constant subject matter.
