Crampton's
studio is open anytime by appointment. Next open studio are
in April 28 and 29, 2012 from 11am to 6pm.
A life in paintings
(at left) features a couple of images for each year. Small landscapes
are generally plein air, larger works are studio work. Carolyn
works in series which can be in various media or techniques. The
series tend to run vertically back in time and sometimes cycle
in and out.
NEWS
Carolyn took a painting vacation to
paint plein air in Las Vegas in November 2010. Currently she is
working on a series of still lifes in the studio.
She is currently playing
and writing music as part of indie rock band called the The
Insufferables,
also based out of Hunters Point Shipyard.
